Question:: I have a miss at high rpm like it need more fuel. There's an airbox on it but not be used. There's a cone filter on it. If I moved my needle will that help?

just a quick question i know its an old vide but can u answer my question?. i have a little problem whith my ktm exc 380 and the question is does detonation/pre ignition happen att low or high altitude? or does altitude have nothing to do whith that?

bananer.nununu kalle Altitude is not that big of a factor in detonation/pre ignition, it’s mostly timing. Fix your timing then use higher octane fuel if you’re not already. Higher octane fuel is obviously better for your engine, but could and will help it run cleaner.

No its not my timing because i just moved and when i ride here my bike is doing some detonation or something but when i go back and ride where i lived before it doesnt do it!

I have issues with my bike running rough anything above half throttle it sounds Asif it wants to drop valves ,and I'm already very rich on it , will a sticking float bowl cause it to run lean and drop valves?

Did you find out what caused it? My buddys bike seems to do the same and the valves are at spec

@@zzAlekzz yes the guy who rebuild the head used mixed valves I had one titanium valve two steel valves and 2 weird valves that I've never seen in my life before ,also the dude tuned the carb so lean that that that alone caused it to drop valves , so my carb was wayyy lean and I had to drop the clip 4 times to give it feul because it was just running way to hot and over half throttle it would get rough ,but then finally one one I was just cruising around 3 rs gear just enjoying a slow ride and it just went here popped the head found two broken valves and a ftup cylinder head ended up buying a second hand head on which I got screwed over again on the second rebuild , the second time round the piston was hitting the head and the head that the guy sold to me was seized where the cams run in so I ended up giving away my bike basically also don't trust bike shops
