She kind of deserved it, because of the way she played, taking doubles when she shouldn't. But let's face it, he got super lucky. Two times double six kept him just above water, but the last double 5 was the ultimate all time joker.

This backgammon style [with doubling cube] should be improve i guess. Because it is really unjustice for the person Who reaches to 8 in 9 point game. Or 10 11 point game. Or etc... Not just criticizing, as a solution advice, For example the game score can be 10-1. After winnigg 1 game for 1 then directley becomes doubles for the all games. All efforts struggles tactics or lucks the player have automotically disqualifies. Maybe they can change as you can have 1 doubling cube right.,Arter winning 1 game at the situation of 1-12. 2-12.[13 pts game] Or any versus.. score back position Sometimes player who is in front can changes his style for not loosing 4 point during the game... This is unfair... I guess just 1 doubling right in any game stage after winning 1 game is fair shortly.

It sounds like you need to study how exactly the doubling cube works and the calculations behind it ;-) Read "Cube Like a Boss" by Marc Olsen.
