This was an excellent match with many technically important and difficult decisions. A classic well worth studying. Kudos to Bill, Dan, Marc and Mochy.

🤔Mr. Sellars, I think you'd have to be a highly qualified Canadian BG expert to make such a comment...

54- решающий, стратегически неправильно сыграно, думаю с 6-ок на 2,1 - с равной игрой😢🫤🤓🤗

Oyunun başında alınmayacak küpü aldı. 1 sayı vereceğine 4 sayı verdi. Son oyunda yine gereksiz hamleler yaparak kendini zora soktu, yine riskli küpü aldı bir anda x2 den mars oldu. Yine 4 sayı vererek oyunu kaybetti!!!

@@Andreabay90 thank you. I'm kinda isolated, living in southland of nz down south. Backgammon is not common in nz.

I am also a strong player at a very high level. I have never played any tournament or registered to any organisation but I am 36 and playing more than 20 years. Would be interesting to play with the best.

Some uncharacteristic plays from Marc at the end there. 🤔Hard to explain...

The announcers did a good job especially considering there was no transcription. One minor thing I would suggest is to try and avoid filler language such as “I mean”. The one announcer said “I mean” every sentence, hundreds of times throughout the game. It was distracting and took away from his worthwhile commentary.

Great tournament. But get N. American English-speaking commentators. Listening to most of the British & Europeans, like one of the guys on the Mochi-Olsen final, is torment. And figure out how to show the #s on the dice for TV spectators. It would make it much easier to follow & more engaging.

Learn to understand an accent that isn't North American, lol.

I listen to American commentators and can understand all of them, so why can't people just adjust to listening to accents different to their own. And with Europeans who speak English as a second language, I always admire their ability to speak a language other than their mother tongue.
