Hi Elliot, I watched your accident debrief video, very delineate & informative. Is this Titan T-51D home built or factory built, please? I remember it has aluminum surfaces but I could be wrong. May I ask why Jim wanted to swap engines in the first place? I am surprised that even this swap was done by factory, there were still some control issues caused by CG.

The owner's goal seems a little problematic. Was it just to go for a ride, or was he expecting to use this aircraft for his flight training? This could have been a very long-term project for you. Hopefully he goes on to learn to fly in an aircraft better suited for training.
