If you get to drive by Yakima Wa you have to stop at a place called Miners drive in. Also the loves in Ellensburg is where my troop stops for dinner before wilderness survival. On the topic of rattlesnakes yes Washington has lots of them but less likely in the fall winter early spring.

There's a mid America truck stop as you come into Wyoming on I80 they have truly Amazing showers and rooms that have saunas plus when you get fuel you get free soft serve ice cream. It's got Amazing people working there too.

Just a FYI, yes Eatern Washington does have rattle snakes 🐍. Infact that loves is at the beginning of the canyon state route 821 and along the river there are snakes galore. If you ever stop there again do yourself a favor and go to Perkins great food and huge portions, well use to be haven't been there in a bit. Safe travels to you and Billie Jo. Take care and be safe.

Hi Dave, You asked if there's rattlesnakes in Washington. In fact there is rattlesnakes Eastern Washington. My mom grew up a couple hours north of Ellensburg in Wenatchee. Her parents had to deal with rattlesnakes near the front door a couple of times to what I've heard.
