Horrible ruling!!!!
@humanfairy7 ай бұрын
Her rulings are often off.
@Fribee837 ай бұрын
To provide proof of address, all you need to do is provide a lease, that's it. The thing the defendant signed was literally all the proof she needed to enroll her kid. Plus if you have a relative stranger saying "Hey, pick up my kid after school" after they've already started a bunch of drama, why would you respond to them, especially if they're texting while you're at work driving? She ignored a single text before the plaintiff said she wasn't gonna move on and started to demand her money back. Some of ya'll are proving why you should never be in charge of any legal matters if you ignore all the evidence because it upsets you.
@bobberry14637 ай бұрын
Her ruling is base on the law. She can't just do whatever she want she follows the law. It not the landlord job to register your kid for the school if you move thst on you. She didn't deny her from moving in just to picking her up which is also fair. The problem is the plaintiff gave up all her rights that why your wording is very important she could had won if she didn't agree to everything. When asking for her dad to bring the stuff if she said no I need help and I need the key, than she would had won but since she agree to it at the time than it consider fair.

That wasn't something they agreed on, it was something they discussed. The plantiff had wanted the defendant to pick up her kid "any day I was at work" which the defendant said she wouldn't be able to and to fix her schedule. The plantiff already knew about not bringing people to the house before she signed the agreement. Literally none of these things were the defendant stopping her from moving in, they were things that was known before signing the contract and putting the deposit down. The plaintiff just wanted free childcare and when she couldn't, she backed out. There's a reason even her own family didn't want her around.

@aprilpinketon25677 ай бұрын
@@Fribee83they discussed how the move-in would go. She was going to pick her and her things up. She didn't want anyone else moving her in. First red flag on the defendant's part. The plaintiff then wanted her to do extra on a drop-off/pickup for her Child's school. Red flag on the plaintiff's side. If the plaintiff never asked her to do the pickup/drop-off for the child I think we would be hearing JM ask her why she wouldn't return get money and calling her a scammer. I don't think she ever intended to let her move in. I've never had a landlord tell me who I can employ to move me and my things in.

@@aprilpinketon2567 Yes, all of that happened before she signed the contract. The child had to be registered for school, and in order to be registered, if there's no lease, the landlord has to go to the school to fill out paperwork.... The judge said that she's responsible for getting her daughter, yet, the landlord is the Uber driver, so if they met because she was the tenant's transportation, then, why wouldn't that be taken into consideration that the tenant would still need the services of the landlord/Uber driver.

The Defendant is Money Hungry and Evil. You Know How I Know This? Because She Was So Quick To Rent Her Room Out To a Person Who Was Essentially a Little Bit More Than a Stranger For Money, Claiming She Wanted To Help But When The Plaintiff Was Trying To Get Her Dad To Move Her In, The Defendant Claimed She Didn't Want Strangers in Her House. And Why Else Would She Threaten and Call The Plaintiff Out Her Name When There Was No Message on Behalf of The Plaintiff Expressing The Same? 🤷🏾 Plain EviL. 🤦🏾

This means hayward, ca. police attacked me. My agreement was legal. I paid rent for almost one year until I was told to stop because for no reason I was to be served for cleaning and cooking. Sweeping the stairs, buying people's kids baked goods, and school sales. On top of doors slammed so hard I got headaches. I never missed a court date for my damages. Thanks for sharing.

Only in America you can win money by people changing their mind on you... This is so ridiculous, what are the defendant's damages? Did she lose any rent that month? Was she even advertising the room for rent? It's so sad that she got to keep the money as a bonanza because I thought ''courts were not for that''... The plaintiff had no keys, not even a toothbrush in that home, and yet she's the one who lost her money because she changed her mind? Again, only in America...

Plaintiff, "can you pick up my kid, oh and she likes snacks and can you get my supper started, hey while you're at it can you take her to school every morning and I'll be going out on the weekends so do you want to just pick her up and let her hang out at your house?''

The judge should have made her give it back. She purposely wouldn’t allow her to move on. She should have gotten a key when the scammer took her money.

I know several people and I have friends and family that work for Uber. Not as drivers but for the actual company. Uber has a policy to never give you the same Uber driver twice for safety. With that being said. I think she was her Uber driver once and the defendant would probably help the plantiff out by giving her discounted rides. That way it was cheaper and the defendant got to keep the majority of her money. She planned on scamming the lady the whole time.

So, without a key, how could Plaintiff have moved in and when Defendant refused to allow her to use certain movers!?! Justice is certainly not always blind in this court. The defendant certainly did try to "keep them from saving" as she admitted in the hall speaking with condescensing and insulting Doug. The plaintiff should have filed charges against Defendant for those threats..... Karma, aka you shall reap what you sow!🧐

@@kamwilliams5541Her parents house was stable. Which is why she was able to back out the deal. She just didn’t want to live there anymore. And there are plenty of childless people without stability. Have you looked at the homeless rates? All these people living in their cars? That can happen to anybody. Even you.

She should have gotten the $200 for threatening to send soldiers to her job. Defendant was a nasty person; once it didn’t work out, she could have given that woman her $400 back, it’s not like she was going to rent it to someone else. Karma will get her.

I missed something on this. How was there a contract when there was not a set move in date? The defendant did didnot give a product in return for $400. The plaintiff was trying to move in, and the defendant declined. The defendant started ghosting the plaintiff, threatening her and being mean. The defendant is also dishonest. The situation became toxic. In order for the plaintiff to register her daughter in school, she will need proof of residency. How can she proceed if she is being ghosted? She may have dodged a haystack of problems if she did move.

Yet another pit bull attack! That poor child :( The defendant is an evil, nasty-mouthed villain!!! The way she keep pursing her lips and messing with her hair is very telling. You can tell a lot about a person by the way she conducts herself. That being said, the way the plaintiff interrupts JM is so annoying.

Ok, if the law says that's a contract, then that's the law about a contract but I think Miss Plaintiff should have gotten the $200 for those threats. Sit your rude behind down "Miss" Defendant.

I think that the plaintiffs should have got in some type of money. Because she was threatened, you know, like. Once you threaten me, you talk about you gonna sing your people, your soldiers, your goons to my job. I have every right to protect myself. I have every right to fill some type of way. I feel scared and cool if I'm not talking to you. And that type of way. Also, you're being mad disrespectful. And at the end of the day, she should have got emotional distress from those sex messages to she's gonna send soldiers to her job. That is a place where she makes some money. That is a threat point blank period
