Oh man your BB was autotox most of the time. Bad bad Sammy! Great tip for yelling for weapons I didn't know about that. I might just walk into bt areas with nothing and let myself get dragged for free weapons and bonus chiral crystals. EDIT: So yeah it works like a charm! Playing on hard mode as well. I go into BT areas with nothing but confidence and good looks, let them grab me and start a boss battle. I have to run around for a bit as yelling for stuff doesn't seem to work immediately, but after a little while of yelling tons of stuff eventually gets tossed my way. Even when I'm loaded down with stuff I still yell for more because I want it ALL. When the boss(es) are put down I collect all the crystals and stuff I didn't pick up during battle and I am FLUSH WITH LOOT that I can recycle. That's right. I am no longer a porter. I'm a BT farmer now!

A lot of people don't get how greatly rewarding this game is if you go off the main road and maximize every prepper out there. I got Platinum with more than 220 hours of gameplay, and still going in from time to time, maintaining structures, building new ones, and sometimes just going from one point to the map to another, just enjoy the beauty of the game. I find it relaxing to step into the world of Death Stranding.

Same, but at this point, I'm going for 100% completion so that will last about as long as it took me to finish the main story I imagine. Hell I'm even into boss farming for loot now so who knows how much longer this will keep going. Theoretically, I could just keep boss farming and raiding MULE camps to hoard loot. I'm still playing Fallout 4 and all I do there is go on raids for loot and schlep it back to Vault 88 to hoard. I can see myself doing the same with Death Stranding. Besides, If I stop playing, who's going to maintain my amazing zip line network that so many love to use?

I did my entire first story playthrough without discovering the backpack cover, or the Level 2 and Level 3 batteries. I've just about wrapped up my second playthrough, the gold battery and backpack cover were some of the first things I grinded for and they made it a much better experience.

if you have something like Assault Rifle or Shotgun is better to use Hematic Grenade on BT first and then shot BT with Lethal Ammo through the cloud that grenade generated to BT it will do more damage than blood ammo idk it work on non-lethal variety though

You don't lose cargo inside your backpack to BTs and falls. I've been grabbed and pulled in with only items inside the backpack and never lost anything before I ever got a cover. The cover only stops timefall.

Maybe it is recent update, but normally when you trip or you fall from being grabbed by Goo Grabbers, everything in your cargo falls to the ground. After you defeat the BT Monster, you can find them near where you dropped them

When you trip and fall badly everything will come out of your backpack. I think it depends on the fall itself because it happened to me a few times. Sam just rolls down without his shit if you have a bad landing.

@@alfZbarkada well, some order is optional. but any order number order less than 100 and even though they are optional, you should definitely do it. Many stuffs are locked behind it. I am not sure what you question refer to. but if you want the cover, it is locked behind the junk dealer to Distribution center order. I can confirm it. I played DS 4 times. The second playthrough I skipped that order and could never unlock the cover even I had rank 5.

The cover protects the cargo that are inside the cover, anything more than that will fall off when dragged by BTs. It also protects from timefall damage which saves you some container spray but it will not protect sensitive cargo (i.e. temperature hot/ cold).

Finally got the Platinum yesterday after 153 hours 35 minutes and 51 seconds of this incredible game. Generally things were more time consuming than difficult though a few elements can cause a slight headache. Levelling up a few of the facilities is something I've heard people complain about and, for me, a handful were worse than others notably Aaron Hill who literally gave me the tiniest sliver of a star for various missions. Raising my Delivery Time at first seemed slow but after realising you can redo deliveries and it still gives you extra likes I focused on a few notable jobs including the big delivery from the Timefall Farm to Lake Knot City which, with a vehicle and as much completed road as possible is both easy and guaranteed to rank you up quickly. Though it was a joyous moment as the Platinum popped I kinda feel sad to leave the game behind and I'm sure I'll be tempted to boot it up again in time for another few runs as there are still more interviews to be collected. Anyway, should anyone reading this require any hints, tips or answers to any questions relating to the game then feel free to ask and I'll do my best to recall and remember all those hours spent in Kojima's masterpiece.

How do I get legend of legends in a delivery

Basically you've got to get the equivalent of an S Rank whilst playing on Hard. Difficulty wise it's not that much harder outside the damage you'll get from MULE and BT encounters but strap on some armour and a handful of guns (only non harmful ammo though unless you want loads of necrotic bodies to haul to the incinerator before they blow!) and you should be alright. As far as the Birth and Growth of a Legend trophies go you'll need a Legend Rank in 40 different deliveries (10 in each type) and then a Legend of Legend Rank in 80 different deliveries, but playing on Hard will nab you both as the difficulty stacks. Other than that make sure you've set up a decent zipline system and/or a road system to and from the facilities and you should be seeing Legend of Legend ranks in no time alongside quicker levelling up and all round higher records. Hope that helps ...

You don't just play Kojima games for its story, people tend to forget about all the shit you can do in alot of the games he made. The gameplay can be simple and deep at the same time, you can just finish the game normally but half the fun for me was experimenting with all the tools the games gave you and there's ALOT of it (the ketchup thing in mgs1 still blows my mind to this day xD) .

He is extremely well hidden, to be fair. I knew he was there because I picked up an item for him and so the map showed me his location, but still it was pretty hard to find the right way to get to him. Luckily, it doesn't take much to max him out, just four or five delivers.

Now for the next big thing, how do I spot BTs without BB? I'm on Deadman's episode and have no BB, but I still need to spot them. Sam has DOOMS and is able to sense them, so why can't I see them when I'm crouched? I'm not playing this whole chapter if I can't see them no matter what I do.

He does sense them. When the screen zooms in alittle and freezes, thats him being alerted to their presence. You have to use your ears and ur wit to get through it. Its possible to get through just listen for bt noises and hold ur breath alot

Go back to the delivery terminal above and recycle stuff so that the required materials in the Knot City. Then go back down the elevator and build your backpacks

Thomas Milne You have 99.9% likely learned the answer, but for others just tuning in: the facility needs to have the material in them. I.e. the same way as you can make (chiro print) gear at (level 2 or above) locations, they need to have material to make that print. As an example, the level 2 backpack cover needs 320 chiral crystals and 160 resin. This becomes apparent to you in many distant locations, a bit away from distribution centers, that only are the prepper terminal and a player built safe house next to it. The safe house will have zero amount of material in it, unless you yourself deposit some to it (menu option “recycle”). Then you need to claim the 160 resin from the prepper terminal and recycle it along with the necessary amount of CC at the safe house terminal. Rest in it and craft/reapply the backpack cover. NOTE! That the safe house or distribution center needs to be level 2 or higher, for you to be able to store enough chiral crystals in it to be able manufacture the level 2 backpack cover. Level 1 places are limited to 300 chiral crystals, so you can only have enough materials to create level 1 backpack covers. (Still better than nothing, and I did those sometimes.)

You are a delivery man in America, who delivers packages to people around the broken US, trying to reconnect it. No one wants to be a delivery man, because it is very dangerous outside. There are MULE's, people obsessed with cargo, the try taking your cargo even if it means that they need to kill you. There are also B.T's (beached things), they are some sort of dead people (i think) that you can only see if you stand still and are hooked up to a B.B (Bridge Baby), the baby's work like that because they are connected to their dead mothers and if you (a living being) connect to a B.B, you create brige. Also on a separete note, there is a world war veteran that you keep having "memories" about, every time you connect to a B.B. If you get taken away by a B.T, you enter a "boss fight", if you get eaten by it you repatriate (respawn because of a special ability you have) and there is a crater. Hope this helps.
