Pasargad ,and also you missed naghshe rostam . In Naghshe Rostam you can see four tombs and one building from Achaemenid dynasty with a group of ancient Iranian rock reliefs cut into the cliff, from Sassanid dynasty; the last important relief is from Elam dynasty and it dates back to 1000 BC

Great presentation of Yazd. Thank you. My family are from Yazd. What you didn't mention is that there are also high mountains around Yazd like the famous Shir Kouh, and villages which are located in high altitude and they get a lot of snow in winter. Yazd, unlike its appearance is located in temporal climatic zone with 4 seasons and has cold winters with snow. Google "snow in Yazd" to view the photos. Now you may wonder how people live in rooms with open wind towers in winter when the temperatures are below zero! Well, they don't. All homes in the old city of Yazd have winter side and summer side. The wind towers are located on the summer side of the buildings.

Cool guys and great vids! If/when you return, Tabriz & Lake Urmia in NW Iran (Iranian Azerbaijan) is a must. Also good is the Caspian Sea area in the North and the Kish & Qeshm islands in the Persian Gulf.

Next time if you wanna visit Iran, you're better of visiting beautiful north part of Iran (Rasht, Sari, Gorgan, Ramsar, ....) and west provinces such as Tabriz, Urmia, Sanandaj, Lorestan and south of Iran (Kish Island). Come back to Iran and visit Kish island and hormouz island and qeshm island because they have incredible nature. Oh don’t forget to visit Tabriz and mashhad and northern part of Iran (which is forests mostley)because they are really beautiful as well. Visit chitgar lake and nature bridge in Tehran.
