Backpacking Arran’s Coast 115km - Part 4 - Best and hardest thing I’ve done

Wild camping, improvising and hiking around Arrans coast was not the journey I expected, but it was the one I needed.
I covered 115km (the route varies in length depending on the which way you go - there are quite a few options).
I really struggled on the last day.
I was sad and happy to finish - a very emotional mix!!

My apologies Annie for being late to your videos. Iv just followed you round arran and love your honest laid back approach to the walk/scramble... Coming to the end i near fell of my couch when the look on your face at the end marker in brodick reminded me of all the funny times during the trip. Weel done..And thank you so much..

😁 Thank you so much, I’m miss Arran, it’s such a perfect little place. I don’t miss the relentless heat of that trip though!! I slept on a mountain Friday night in 5*C and blowing a gale… felt much more at home 😆

Just watched all four parts, having returned to Arran for the 1st time in 30 years earlier this month and not having done half of what you have accomplished on your walk only makes me want to return again. Thank you for the videos, 👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿😃

Really enjoyed folowing your walk on the Arran Coastal path. I live on another Scottish island and was telling a visitor about your vidoes - only to discover he was integral to setting the route up! Look forward to more hiking/camping videos- well done!

Thank you so much for taking us on your trek round Arran. I’ve visited there a couple of times and loved it so your take on walking all round the island was a delight. Btw, Arran is the only place where I’ve heard the cuckoo in real life and I was very pleased to hear it again on one of your videos.

Aww thank you so much for the lovely comment ☺️ It’s funny you mention the cuckoos, they were ‘the sound of Arran’ for me. I felt like I could hear them all day everyday. Absolutely loved Arran.

Brilliant again thank you! Yes cows and calves are a dodgy combination. The hielan coos we passed yesterday in Glen Fyne were all in fields for change and other free red cows didn't give us a second glance. Atb...Terry

We had someone working for us once who spent a day up a tree after getting between a cow and her calf! … (this was in the days before mobiles!)

Another great video, that trail looks so wonderful. Looking forward to seeing more of your adventures. Those crows were cheeky! Good advice re the cows/cattle, as a farmer's son I'd agree. Take care out there! George
