Definitely a nice area, this was my first time out there so for me there is much to explore! Any waterfalls worth mentioning?

Nice video !! I learned to get comfortable solo backpacking there, at Bear lake. It's pretty over used now, I think the word is out on The Emigrant wilderness. If you have two nights , you can cross country up to Granite lake from the inlet of Bear Lake. Try soaking your filter in a water / vinegar solution for at least an hour or longer, then back flush. I've never seen the lake so low. Thanks for sharing !!

Bear Lake did seem like there was a lot of groups but we did come in on a Saturday. We ran into a couple people coming down from Granite Lake that said its awesome up in that area, I will definitely keep it in mind. Thanks for the tips and as far as solo backpacking goes I really need to get out and do that!

@solukhumbu911 Good tips! Need to go back for sure. Some people were talking to me about going up the creek and off trailing to Granite Lake. Looking back on this one seemed a bit lazy for sure! Haha
