Backpacking in the Brooks Range, Alaska | 16 Days, No Trails

A 16-day backpacking trip with my sister north of the arctic circle in the Brooks Range, Alaska. No trails, no resupply.
This trip took many months of planning and preparation and many years of Alaska experience (not mine) to feel ready to take it on. We had multiple layers of redundancy and backup for vital items, including a lot of redundancy in my diabetes supplies. Make sure to do all the necessary planning before any outdoor adventure so you can be safe, or at least understand and prepare for the risk you are taking on.
