It was! I didn't really know what to expect and impress me. Lots of that park worth exploring I think!

I’m jealous that you’ve been out already. Good for you! Looking forward to more!

More to come! But don't be jealous. I really had to work around and find places where I could get out for a night. I thought we were going to have a spring similar to last year but nope.

We hiked around the lightning lake loop in late September, really enjoyed it, took around 3 hours to do the 13k I think. Always take the GoPro with me, got some nice scenery shots along the way. Nice vid, I’ll check out some more of your stuff

How come the grizzlies seem to stay basically in banff and jasper national park? Why aren't they found all over BC? It seems that perhaps you arent that concerned about black bears.

That's a good question about grizzlies in BC. But they certainly have them. Prince George area... I mean I could name a bunch of areas with Grizz. The trail office told me that they really don't have many down in that area or "any" I think was the word they used - but that doesn't mean it's not possible. I would not say that I am nonchalant when only in Black Bear country. I had my bear spray. I was making noise. So, doing my due diligence. I also think it's important to know the difference between the two bears in an encounter. There's a video here somewhere on that. Both animals can be very dangerous.

Way to get an oldie song stuck in someone’s head. lol. Beautiful area. I don’t recall ever seeing geese come in for a landing. Hmmm. Thanks for sharing!
