Wow that looked like a steep climb up to that lake! Love all of the wildflowers! Pretty cool how all of those cascades came in after the storm!

Thanks for sharing Andrew, another great job! Favorite backpacking channel! Looks like an Osprey Aether 70 you have. Love mine and the brain does work well as a daypack. Keep up the good work!

I don't know what was more enjoyable, the wildlife, wildflowers, or the water rushing down the mountain!

Beautiful. My mother in-law lives near Bigfork. Visited them too many times to count over the years, but we've not done any backpacking.

Nothing like the afternoon thunder power hour in the Rockies!

Gorgeous! If your trip was truly 9 days ago, I was in Glacier on the 15th of August and yes, there were definitely thunder storms! However, I'm sure you didn't put this out the same day you were hiking so probably just the usual mountain storms! I must visit this gorgeous range.

Damn! That's a lot of elevation gain in 3.75 miles. My kind of challenge. Will have to drive up from Southwest Montana next summer! Thanks for the inspiration and spot. Will have my dog hike in 6 beers. This year has been very hit or miss for sunsets, seems like every time I'm out there it thunderstorms and clouds up too much right around sunset.
