Great video, Matt! The Gifford-Pinchot national forest is one of the prettiest national forests I saw this past summer. The Wenatchee was beautiful, too! Thank you for putting so much time and care into your videos. They are truly enjoyable!

I filmed this back in August, it just took a while to find time to edit it. I'd imagine there is quite a bit of snow up there right now. Probably better to wait until June if you want to avoid snow.

Is a permit required for camping?

No permit is required for camping around the lake. If you go farther on the trail past the lake then a permit is required for camping.
