Surprised you didn't do diamond falls too. You were right there, went right by the short, easy trail to them. Almost as high as the hemmed in falls and right behind them.

That it is, Mark! Even more beautiful on a weekday without the crowds - like Woodstock out there on a weekend. Haha I couldn’t get out of my driveway for 5 days, I’ve never seen so much snow in my life.

Great video! No better time to hike than warm winter days in my opinion, especially when creeks are flowing.

Hey Chris, thanks for following my channel! It allowed me to see yours, and all I have to say is WOW! Dude, I’m going to be binge watching this! That Goat Trail?!? What a beautiful way to get up the mountain. That view from night two, how epic was that? I didn’t know Arkansas had those views, incredible. Thanks so much for sharing, can’t wait to see more!

Hey thanks man! Found your channel researching the Grayson Highlands, really enjoyed that video of yours. Arkansas is where it’s at! Y’all should come check it out. Ozarks or the Ouachitas, you can’t go wrong in the Natural State! ✌🏼

I'm heading up to Harrison sometime this summer to visit my stepaunt, so I've got to go check out that bluff at the 8:11 mark. The only problem is that I'm an extremely inexperienced hiker, so im not sure if it would be safe, especially doing it alone, since I won't have anyone to hike with lol..

Nice. It’s wider than it looks on camera, you can do it! Just take plenty of water for the climb back up to the Centerpoint Trailhead.

Great job on video man!! I’ve been pretty much on all that you did and loved it. Never been to antenna pine, looks like a secluded place I need to visit soon😊

@@DixonHikes thank you, I am fairly new to this hiking overnight stuff and especially making KZbin videos😊. Me and my brother-in-law are planning to head back down there Sunday and do a three day two night BRT trail and hopefully explore Indian Creek area. Looks like we’ll get wet on Sunday but hopefully Monday and Tuesday be good!! Maybe will run into you sometime down there Chris!

Better late than never! Y’all have a safe trip - you’re right; Sunday is looking a lil dicey, but Monday & Tuesday should be just about perfect. Enjoy that BRT.

Fantastic trip !!! I’m gonna watch again. Do you remember your route? I’d love to hike it sometime soon.

Hey thanks Michael! This is a great loop combining some of the finest scenery Arkansas has to offer. From my personal favorite view, the Goat Trail, to the tallest waterfall in between the Appalachians & the Rockies, Hemmed-In Hollow @ 209ft. I started @ the Compton TH, & took the Sneeds Creek Trail down to the junction with Centerpoint Trail. Took Centerpoint up to the junction with the Goat Trail/Big Bluff trail. Took the Goat Trail down to the Old River Trail, followed the ORT east past Jim Bluff to where Sneeds Creek drains into the Buffalo River. Crossed Sneeds Creek & took the Hemmed-In Hollow trail (white blaze) to the Falls. returned on the HIH trail & took it up to the junction with the Bench Trail. Followed the Bench Trail East about 2 miles to a faint, but worn unnamed trail up to Antenna Pine - basically make your way up to the bluff line, & you’ll see a notch by the waterfall, there’s a rope to help you climb up. Hiking out I returned to the Bench Trail, & took it west back to the intersection with the Hemmed-In Hollow trail, & took It back to the Compton Trailhead. All total was around 18 miles, I do believe. Hope this helps.
