San Bernardino Peak stands high with 10,649 ft and it is the third highest peak in SoCal. We did this hike coming from Angeles Oaks trail head with total of 16 miles out and back. On day one we tried reaching the Limber Pine Bench campsite. There was no flowing water spring so we improvised by digging hole along the trail and scoop the water from melted snow. Boiling snow is another option but will use up much of our fuel. The next morning, we did an assault to the summit and we were successful although it wasn't easy for the group. All in all, it was a great outing and we're planning on doing another training hike somewhere, sometime soon. Enjoy watching.
