Backpacking THE CLEVELAND WAY Part Two Kildale to Filey.

Part two of my backpacking journey hiking the length of the Cleveland Trail sees me leave Kildale and head for Filey whilst taking in the towns of Staithes, Whitby, Robin Hoods Bay and Scarborough along the way.

Whitby hasn't changed much. The last time I was there was with the Benbow sea fishing club.

Brought back happy memories. Nearly climbed Roseberry Topping but it was very windy and I had all on controlling the force of the wind on my large backpack - so I had to leave it for another time. You are right when you said there are loads of steps! Thank you.

Loved it al especially the coastal villages, if I did that trail I would use hotels too, all the best and thanks for sharing it brought back fond memories
