thanks for sharing your experience! btw.. how many days did you stay in Mui Ne? Whats there to do in Mui Ne other than the sand dunes?
@becausewecamp9 жыл бұрын
Tay Aaron No problem! We're happy to share our experiences :) Regarding Mui Ne, we only stayed there for two nights if I remember correctly. Our visa was running out so we didn't have much time to hang out. But aside from the dunes and just cruising around the area, there wasn't much else to do there. I'm sure we could have found something if we had looked harder... Thanks for watching and commenting!

+Tony Garcia Thanks so much for watching Tony! We're not sure how much we spent during our month here but I'll research it and get hard numbers and put out a post on our webpage (becausewecamp.com) but as far as doing things differently, I think we went through the North too quickly, but considering we only had a 30 day visa, it worked out and we got to HCMC just in time with only a few days left to spare! On this trip, we wouldn't change a thing but when we go back to Vietnam, we want to do a motorbikes trip centered on the North more. Hope that helps! Thanks again for your comment and views! :)

Harder for the bus to turn around, maybe. Driving in Viet Nam is crazy! But the drivers are super good at driving. The notion of Asians being bad drivers in America is dead wrong.

Hey! My friends and I intended to travel from Hue to Hanoi by sleeper train, but they're all out of tickets (Reunification and Labor Day peak season). We're on a rather tight schedule, so the only affordable option is to take a sleeper bus. Did you book your tickets online or directly at a tourist agent? Do you have any reputable agents or open bus services to recommend? Thanks and appreciate the help!

Hi thefruitbar! We took a bus twice on our trip, and both times we just booked directly from the place we were staying at without issue. I know there's the "sinh cafe" open bus option, but honestly there were like 4 "sinh cafe" bus companies in Hanoi, so it was impossible to tell which one was real... so unfortunately, I don't have a company to directly recommend. If you're unsure about booking through your hotel, you can head over to the Valentine Hotel in Hue and book with them. This is the place we stayed at and the bus company they deal with is pretty good. Although, if you just book through your hotel I'm sure you'll be fine. Good luck and let me know if you have any other questions!

Americans say Asians are bad drivers, but not here in Viet Nam!!!
