Thank you for reviewing. If not terrible doors this would be indeed interesting tent. Doors folding down and you either take super care of it or it gets dirty in no time. For me only hanging doors, i.e. opening/zipper on sides and bottom.

My Mate used it in the brecon beacons Sunday night, we had heavy rain all night, he woke up to a wet quilt & gear, I was fine in the Wechsel exagon 1 🤣

Did he seam seal it before using it? I was just wondering about one of these tents for my Beacons trips 😂

@@jamesf8864 Yes he did but it just didn't handle the heavy rain plus Condensation was terrible . He regret buying it 🤣

@@farid5661 Good to know. Thanks. It seems a bit over-priced then!

@@farid5661 I would imagine your friend didn't seam seal correctly in that case. Mine deals with heavy rain no problem. I did take my time with the seam seal though and used it undiluted. The Free Spirits (Pretents) also use a waterproof stitching in the design process too. I have spoke with them at length regarding their range as I was considering importing a number of their products for UK distribution. I can not fault the craftsmanship of the one I have. It is second to none IMHO.

Thanks for all your reviews and videos :D I would love to see a video from your taking and showing the hilleberg mesh tent 1 2019. I am considering buying it form your webside, but i really want to see it first. - Pease Matti! - Thanks again!

Hey thanks for the review. This looks like a very well made tent and apart from the vestibule pegs free standing. I am 1.93 and I still think if I add a inflatable mat my toes/head would touch at least the inner tent. Your honest opinion on that? My point is if I spent top money on any tent than it should fit me perfect. I am still searching for a light (forget lightweight) tent which fits me any other suggestions for a tall guy like you and me. Cheers

Hi, as I stated in the video, I think 190 is not a major problem.. but I do think 193 or more and you will probably have to get used to the idea of mushing the innertent.. again, not a big problem, it’s mushing the outer that is a problem. But that is more what your comfortable with. I use mostly a thick heavy sleeping pad and it works in the Lightrock. If you are looking for maximal length take a gander at the Lightheart gear Solong 6

Hi Ken, Thanks for this. Is the inner door completely solid or does it have a mesh portion ( zippable or not ) ?

Exactly the same design as the Asta Gear Crescent. Although the Crescent is a 2P Tent..
@Backpackinglightse4 жыл бұрын
I wonder if its the same designer, or if Asta gear just straight up stole the design. Interesting anyway :)

I went on line to do some research and found absolutely nothing. Does this company actually exist? Lol
