@@salmaanwadvalla68 I do agree with you. Causing a crash that is near lethal or enough to make him injured is enough to make him dsq. One thing for sure is that Lewis didn't take the space in enough which Verstappen had already given it enough to touch the apex and the crash happened. That crash could've been lethal and if it is lethal, Lewis will be charged for murdering someone so it should've been a dsq or maybe a race ban. Note : this is only my opinion

Well if you want close racing, this is what we get. If both drivers are aggressive, they both will be put in danger. It's ok to be aggressive but there will be one time where your aggressiveness will backfire on you. One of them should back out but seeing Max aggressive as usual and Lewis always backing out from Max's attacks in past races, neither will back out so the crash happens. Both drivers being aggressive is something we (As a spectator) couldn't control. Only the team can control the aggressiveness of the driver. So there's nothing we can do there.

Hamilton said: "At the moment you, in spite of a punishment, finish in front of the one who’s race you ruined, then the punishment was not severe enough. It feels like as if the culprit walks free after violating the law. It just feels not right”. Angry words from Hamilton about the outcome of the crash between Sebastian Vettel and Valtteri Bottas during the french GP in 2018. Vettel touched Bottas who ended up in a spin and collected a 5 second penalty for that but he succeeded in finishing in front of Bottas. In 2018 Bottas could continue to race but in 2021 Verstappen could not.

I mean, if all you get is a 10-second penalty I think we all know what Perez has to do next races. Everybody says that Hamilton didn't do it on purpose, but I refuse to believe someone with that much experience didn't know what would happen if he kept his foot on the gas. I think he saw an opportunity which could end both their races or only Max' and he went for it. A sore loser and celebrating the way he did I lost all my respect for him. Not really, this was inevitable, especially with the way things were going. Eventually lewis would match Max's aggression when his car had the pace. How many times have we seen this scenario nearly play out with Max as the aggressor before Lewis gave up because it wasn't worth the risk? On this incident, my guess is that since both of them weren't letting up on each other, and Lewis being more aggressive than normal, a touch happened and Max spun out. It would've been the same outcome if the cars were swapped, that's just the type of race it was. Driving like this is an elaborate game of chicken, and I have no problem with it because this is the wheel to wheel racing we've all wanted, right? Yet when the wheels barely touch everyone has a surprise pikachu face. Why complain now? Especially when Max initiated the incident by turning into Lewis when most driver would've steered wide to prevent the obvious impending collision. Stop making racing drivers out as villains for simply driving competitively. More of this is gonna happen, infact Perez did something similar to Kimi in the same race but yet no one bats an eye because its just "competitive driving" and I guess kimi also didn't lose a wheel and crash, but it was initiated similarly.

not hating hamilton one of the best drivers in history but today i think he could have done more to avoid the accident.He should have taken a tighter line and go more for the apex + what is wondering me the most ist the reaction after the race just making a big show running between the mechanics on checos car with the british flag and just caring for the win today. I dont know who you support im a ferrari fan and hamilton had great pace today and overtook charles fairly but if you look at the replays charles took the same line as max ( it doesnt matter that he lost the car at the exit) and in the mid of the corner lewis was backing more of, if he took that line before there would be no accident.
@evandalemon3 жыл бұрын
Completely agree On his move vs Leclerc, Lewis knew there was less pressure (with max being out) so he didn’t really need to send it. The merc was over a second faster than the Ferrari (prob bcz of tires) and he would likely have made the move on the hanger straight going into Stowe. Also not hating on Hamilton bacause i know how difficult split second decisions are as I am playing my fair share of sports, he went for a gap bring a racing driver and it ended up with his rival in the wall

I have an issue with the boos and the cheering immediately after contact also Lewis’s celebrations were unnecessary and over the top Lewis was clearly at a fault here and 10 sec penalty literally did nothing and he should have got a greater penalty. The fact that he did not apologise or show any remorse is absolutely disgusting A lot of Lewis fans will attack me for this but honestly I couldn’t care less, Lewis caused a 51g accident in other cases that could have been a lot worse. The FIA is an absolute joke Also hungry spa and zandafoort is going to be interesting I wouldn’t be surprised if Lewis has a little moan on Twitter and Instagram during that race weekends
@beanboy32183 жыл бұрын
He literally asked if Max was ok straight after the incident, said he was happy he was uninjured after the race. If I were him I wouldn't apologise after, both could have left more space. Max has been driving aggressively all year expecting people to back out just because he has a reputation for being an aggressive driver. And don't kid yourself if it was the other way around you would be saying that it was a racing incident and that the fia are bias towards mercedes. The important thing is that Max is ok so stop your complaining.

The people in the grandstands don't get the great angles as we do on TV, so it is difficult to see how big of a crash it was. Lewis asked the team if Max was alright and they said he was, and it was a home win with a 10 second penalty so he is of course allowed to celebrate in front of his home crowd

@ghostlyrazgriz52283 жыл бұрын
@@ramondobma there was blame on both sides. Hamilton missed the apex but max also turned into him. I think this'll happen again if max carries on with the moves he's done earlier in the season. He's dived hamilton and pushed him off track multiple times. Hamilton backing out while on the outside stopped accidents happening before this. Max needed to back out of this one but he's to aggressive for it.

@@ramondobma also horner after the barcelona incident where max dived into hamilton. Seems very hypocritical after silverstone “Turn 1 was mega. I mean Max, that was full Max Verstappen - he was just going for it - and he positioned the car fantastically well,” said Horner after the Spanish GP. “He tucked in, he got a little bit of a tow and a bit of momentum. And yeah he just braked later and ran the car wide. Thankfully Lewis had got out of it because otherwise he would have ended up in the fence,” he added.
