Vince shitting on his fathers word and turning heel against the territories and becoming the wrestling giant. If you consider that, him killing kayfabe, and one of his many catchphrases “it’s all about the monaye”. It’s kinda obvious that he never cared about us fans or his wrestlers. The only thing that matters to Vince is the dollar bill and himself. Vince was always an egotistical heel at heart that’s why it worked so well for a man with very little to no acting experience to portray that character.

Seth's heel turn on The Shield will always be the biggest betrayal for me. It genuienly shocked me and made me sad cause The Shield were amazing as a babyface faction and I wanted to see them together longer. Ciampa's heel turn to Gargano and Owens to Jericho was also great stuff.

Triple H turning on Shawn Michaels will always be one of those betrayals that still remains shocking because of how sudden it happened. They come out to the DX music and right as we believe we're about get a great reunion, he hits Shawn with a Pedigree and then starts a great blood feud between the two guys.

The OG Stephanie one is good because she was still a heel but HER MOTIVE MADE SENSE! Even the audience cheered when she explained it to Vince. I hate when the heel turns are just for shock value with no good payoff (Nikki Bella being the worst)

I remember hearing the audience cheering for Stephanie too when she explained to Vince WHY he betrayed her and was confused. Sure, she was simply getting even with her dad for emotionally tramuatizing her earlier in the year with the Ministry of Darkness thing but she aided Triple H who was the top heel of the company at the time. Luckily, Stephanie did a bunch of things to get the fans to hate her guts and call her slut repeatedly including me.

I will never forget Ciampa turning on Gargano. Like sure Seth turning on the shield was more “shocking” but Ciampa’s turn was so well build up and executed over almost a year. They constantly had us question when will it happen to a point where we even doubted it would happen at all. They even had the damn end graphic on the screen when they walked back onto the stage and then he turned. It was the perfect turn

There have been so many iconic betrayals but if i had to choose the biggest one, it would definitely have to be Seth Rollins turning on The Shield and ultimately breaking up the group. Nobody not even me saw this coming because Rollins, Ambrose and Reigns were a true tight unit and a real band of brothers who all had each other's backs. I know they did show teases of tension between Reigns and Ambrose but Rollins was the glue who kept them both in check which makes his betrayal even more shocking because The Shield had just defeated Evolution at two straight back to back ppv's, they were on top of the world and that moment when Rollins crashed the steel chair on the back of Reigns, i'll never forget the sound of the screaming "noooooooo" pretty summed up my reaction. The complete hush silence of Rollins standing with Triple H and Randy Orton over the bodies of Ambrose and Reigns still makes my jaw drop. It was a brilliant move and it made Seth Rollins into one of the biggest heels in the company

Don't get me wrong, that betrayal still shocked me but as a fan who has followed their history and remembering how they didn't always see eye to eye back in December 98 up to the summer of 99, it didn't come as much of a big surprise because it was inevitable that Triple H would eventually turn on Shawn Michaels but Rollins betraying The Shield shocked me a lot more because i didn't see it coming at all.

Dean Ambrose turning on Seth in 2018 should’ve been here too… the circumstances of that night is what made it so heartbreaking. Just sucks how poorly executed his heel run was though. Also, Triple H turning on Shawn Michaels in 2002. i’d even argue Triple H turning on Seth should be here too, nobody really saw that one coming either.

I may not have watched NXT during that period But I can tell from what I have seen of the feud between Ciampa and Gargano It was definitely booked a lot better than Kevin Owens VS Sami Zayn was Unlike KO and Sami where only one man benefited from the rivalry (that man being KO) by going on to win titles and get more opportunities than the other Ciampa and Gargano both individually got numerous opportunities to shine and they didn’t feel constantly tied to each others names like Zayn did with Owens for so long

Sami was hurt and then got called up(and 3 time IC champ), owens was nxt champ for a long while then called up, ciampa and gargano both stayed in nxt for a very long time after the heal turn. The story behind zayn and ko, you would have had to watch sami scrap and claw for over a year to finally win the title, ko debuting the same night seemingly as a face and then suddenly turn on sami when it looked like the show was going off air. Also, before owens first match there was lots of talk about how him and sami were best friends for years.

Brie Bella IMO is one of the most loyal and kindest characters in wrestling Tbh I think it was understandable why Brie made up with Nikki and forgave her I think people would’ve been less confused if they let Brie cut a promo explaining how Nikki and her will always be sisters and telling everyone why she cost A.J the title with Brie saying how she and A.J have never been friends and how when she did try to be friends with her(by apologizing to A.J for Nikki attacking her and making Brie attack her) A.J attacked her in return Like I said, Brie is one of the kindest and most loyal characters in wrestling from standing up for her husband, to forgiving Nikki and helping Nikki however she could and treating Team Bella member Alicia Fox like a sister and never turning on her when she and Fox were on their own while Nikki was injured

That is true. But their feud still made Brie look weak. Also, Nikki said some despicable things to her and Brie also swore revenge, but WWE didn’t live up to that angle and ended it with no clear resolution. The feud still sucks but yeah, this gives me another reason to like Brie Bella even more.

Literally no one cared then, or afterward, about either Bella twin. The claim that either of them would be a catalyst in the women's revolution in wrestling is just comedic. It was well-known by this point that they were both the fading remnants of the Diva era, and the only reason either rose to any fame at the time was due to their affiliation with their otherwise relevant male love interests.
