Backstep Cindy- Old Time Clawhammer Banjo Tune

Backstep Cindy! This is a fun old time tune, and I really like the C part where you just slide up and down for as long as you want. I imagine it would be a lot of fun in jam sessions too. I think my drone string was just a bit out of tune here, which is unfortunate for a song that relies so heavily on the drone string, but ah well, let's just say that makes it more authentic.

I grew up playing violin and bass violin. The banjo is very foreign to me. My aunt taught banjo to some very famous figures in the 40's and 50's. I never understood until I listend to Phoebe and just closed my eyes to listen. Well done young lady! Well done my sister.

Any chance you might do one of these cool claw-hammer versions of "Someone's in the Kitchen with Dinah"? I've always enjoyed that melody. And it, of course, has a banjo in the lyrics.
