After stocking up with coconuts and travelling 20km, we pull the kayaks up at the mouth of a very small, crystal clean river system. It wasn't long before the curious resident croc came out to see what was going on. This camp spot was honestly one of the best! That croc footage was awesome, loved the camp you found, looked like somewhere you could spend a couple of days just chillaxing. Really enjoyed the kayak packing explanation. This is not self sufficiency, because it is not indefinably sustainable as a lifestyle. To be self sufficient, you need to be able to make and maintain all of your equipment, shelter etc. This includes the kayaks, paddles, your clothing, shelter, dry bags, tools etc. What your doing is playing "let's pretend". It is a nice illusion though!
