I bought my Prius brand new in 2005 - best car ever and I've been driving for 65 years! However, advancing years make turning the head for reversing a bit difficult and with the Prius rear visibility is not its strongest point. Now, thanks to your excellent videos the Navtool camera is installed and works perfectly first time. It would have taken a lot longer without such well detailed and nicely edited video. Many thanks again.

I just wanted to thank you for your video! I bought a back up camera and what was supposed to be a 20 minute install, but did not take into consideration that it was a hatchback like my Prius!! I emailed Boscam, and they sent me your video to help with the install and it helped a lot with how to deal with feeding the wires from the camera through the hatchback. I am not finished yet, but I would not be this far without your informative video. Thanks!

Hello, where can I buy this kit from? Also my car is 2004 and doesn't have a sat nav on it

I do have a japanese made 2004 prius. It is base model and does not have navigation GPS option. Does that mean that the camera will not work? When you add the NAV 2 adapter will that add the GPS navigation option too at the same time or it does not have anything to do with it? Notice that the model I have have only 4 switches on the screen and not 6.

at 13:13 that plastic need 3 white plastics to get connect to the metal.. how they called and where i can found them please? mine fell inside the holes.....

Hi how did you remove the 9 mm nuts of the trunk plastic trim piece? I was not able to get them out.

They are called "HuskyLiners Weatherbeaters". The make it for a number of cars, but these are specific to the Prius.

eallevato hi, any chance you can show how well the weather beaters fit in your Prius? Do you have mats for the first row as well? I'm interested in seeing how the side walls of the driver side holds up. Some say there's gaps and it covers the fuel door lever. Thx

Most of these inexpensive cameras are out of Hong Kong. Ebay has them for around $18 US. Just search for "CCD rear view reverse backup camera for Toyota Prius". Make sure it states "for 2006-2009 Prius". Good luck.

Unfortunately no. The Navtool sends either the camera output OR the GPS DVD output to the Multi Function display.
