The 2018 Ford Transit now has a reverse backup camera installed in the rearview mirror however it is incredibly small and awkward to use since rarely anyone uses a rearview mirror without rear windows.

Hi Simon, It would be best to contact the manufacturer of the vehicle for a wiring schematic in order to pinpoint the location of the best circuit available.

I just did it on my T-150 2018 take the connector in hand like him count starting on the right-down corner to right-up corner select the second green wire. If memory is still intact green bar orange. If you doubt stick a wire in this location touching crimp pin put back connector and try moving shifter you should read 12V only in Reverse

Did you use a 7/8”hole saw ? Wasn’t 7/8” to big? I have to install mine and was thinking using a 3/4 hole saw so the grommet fit tight

You said connect to the power for reverse light. Is that the power going into the control module or out of the module going towards the reverse lights or is that the back of the reverse light fuse?

It's the RVS-770613 system with the camera swapped out for the RVS-121 camera.

Unsoldered wiring connections? Even if your tech gets a good connection with that method, do you really think the general public is going to not have issues 100% of the time performing this method? We are talking about tapping into a safety system of the vehicle, after all....

What a long winded way to wire a camera. And why keep showing the toolbox, we know where to get a screwdriver from and what a toolbox looks like.
