Boss, the wood cubby turned out great 👍. The flat black adds a lot of depth. I always wondered how deep it goes when watching the newer videos. Never would have thought that it’s just two deep. Frankie is a gem. Man’s best friend right there. Boss, You’re an inspiration to us all. I could never fault you for not wanting a normal job. I’ve done my best to avoid it. I’m 35 and don’t know anyone my age that’s worked around not having a 9-5 like I have. I definitely appreciate and understand the feast or famine. That’s when it pays to be a saver instead of a spender. As always Boss, God bless you and yours!

Another fine video JC, Getting ready for deer season, watching a few of your videos, and enjoying some Indian Summer here in New London. Good job on the firewood cubby, I'm hearing that it's going to be a cold Winter, I've got about 4 cords in the wood shed, so we'll see what comes around. I have to say that border collies are the best. Had Blue outside last week running and she ran across the yard and jumped right over Rusty, not evening touching him. Not bad for a dog who turns 11 in October. Loved the video, especially Frankie. Blue is a digger too.

The apples are dropping fast now and the deer are gobbling them up. There's 4 or 5 apple trees in the meadow by the cabin and they all produce pretty well. Yeah Framkie is quite the entertainer. He's a hoot to live with.

Wish I had a dollar for every time I was asked that. I sell my own line of seasonings, meat rubs, marinades etc at festivals, plus I used to be a professional artist and still sell my drawings. Between that and trapping I'm good to go buddy.

As always a great video. I am always a fan of getting wood ready and I got a couple cords myself to put away. I love it because it means fall is near and there is nothing like the first fire of the year. That cook up looks good, a dutch oven is my next addition for cast iron cooking. Hope all is well. Ha ha yeah the border collies are going to get popular fast. They are a handful though and I'm not kidding. I really don't recommend one unless you have ample time and lots of acreage. Lots of BC's end up in shelters. They get themselves into trouble fast. Thanks for the comment.

No I called him off before he got a face full of fox teeth. The hole was only about 2" diameter for a while and then expanded to about 6". I think a fox dug it out. Thanks for commenting.

Great vid JC those dutch ovens are awesome . I've seen a lot of beans cooked in one... They just dig a big hole and build a fire in it. When the coals are ready they wrapped the dutch oven in tin foil with the beans inside. Tin foil assures no dirt gets inside. Then bury it in the ground with the coals and leave over night. Next day bean hole beans ...
