I have much respect for Xpedition. A friend on mine has a Mountaineer that had module screws come loose and sheared off the drawlength indexing peg on the module, ripping the hole it indexed into wider than spec. I sent them an email with pictures of both cams, and they sent me a new set, no questions asked. I got the new cams installed, and his bow tuned in a matter of a week. My friend was a happy camper!!

Your channel has quickly become my favorite, even over the Podium Archer channel, which is also one of my favorites. You seem to enjoy doing these reviews more, and giving each bow a decent chance of being something great, or something meh. I can sense MFJJ spreading himself really thin, getting burned out, and rushing through his reviews. Case in point was his review on the Bear Whitetail Maxx. He did not do that bow justice and seemed really rushed. He didn't even measure the reflex on that bow correctly. Needless to say, I was really disappointed, but then again, he pushes high-end stuff, so for him to endorse the Whtietail Maxx ($600 MAP) would severely cut into his high-end, high-dollar bow sales. Me? I absolutely love the Whitetail Maxx. I actually bought it after watching your reivew on the Whitetail Legend Pro (and setting up and tuning a few for my friends). I've always been a Bowtech guy, but they're never responsive to my questions or concerns, and that's been rubbing me wrong in the past few years. Case in point - my Bowtech Solution SS will not tune with the string plumb to the riser. I addressed this with Bowtech and all I got were crickets. The Whitetail Maxx, on the other hand, absolutely did tune up with everything plumb and level, and at HALF the price! And they even took the time and went and read my review on this bow on ArcheryTalk! Needless to say, I'm gravitating towards Bear now. I'm still waiting for my Alaskan XT to come. Love your videos!! Keep them coming.

Can’t wait for 35” review. 35” ata is my favorite platform. Shooting a Reckoning 35 right now and I am very happy with it. I wish you could measure draw lengths. I’m not upset if it comes in long or short. The information would be helpful for bows like the Xpedtion, a bow that would more than like would be ordered sight unseen let alone shooting one.

I did the same thing to my shrewd stabilizer last night. Took the weights off and tried it on my Hoyt RX4 Turbo. Holds really nice

I struck out on turkey but was on several, got real close. Struck out this deer season. I hunted this morning before work. Our season ended today where I live. Got real close on deer & missed an 8pt at 45yds. I dont like shooting past 25 yards

bow looks great but I will save 650-700 dollars and deal with the .35 pounds of extra weight on a lift no way im paying 2 grand for a bare bow.. ether way great review as always.. if a used one shows up for a lot less coin I would like to own one..

I started with a 5# hoyt carbon defiant turbo and had pin float. Switched to an elite omnia and its loaded out; cbe hybrid 5 pin dovetail slider, vapor trail gen 7, and dead center 8/6 combo with a 10* offset qd mount and added 1oz to the side bar and its 7.15# and holds solid. My rx7 with accell 5 pin pic sight, vapor trail gen 8 integrate. and a front 8" bee stinger is right around 6.5# and is incredibly stable for a short ata bow. I've done enough reps that carrying either bow for hours doesn't bother me but I will say that I prefer to be between 6-7# bow. I've found I'm most stable finding the correct draw length for the specific bow I'm shooting so having fine draw adjustments has helped so props to elite for 1/4" adjustments. I've been fighting the draw length on my mathew's traverse 28.5 is actually 28.875 and 28 is 28.375 and I find my sweet spot with this bow to be legit 28.5" which I have to twist the cables and mess with string length to get to.

5lbs total is where i like to be, that includes stabilizers, sight, etc. Anything less i get a ton of pin float

I have a 29" phase 4, do u think the stability and hold is alittle better then the phase 4? I'm a 30" and I find I'm always checking my bubble on the 29" mathews.

Call me weird but I like a certain amount of weight in my bow. If I get too light I lose accuracy. Great bow though and as always great content

I am agree a bow with a little more substance seem to have more stability, one of the good things about carbons and xlite u can add wait where u need without over doing it, one way to look at it, for a light bow with a shorter frame hard to get more solid than this one

Do you think you could weigh it? The weight seems to be the premise of this bow but unfortunately you can never trust the manufacturer's specs, so I'm at a loss in considering it.

@BackyardBows the amount of reflex that the bow has. Measurement from pivot point of riser to back of grip. Idk, some dudes add that into their reviews. Supposedly it's related to stability and torque. Just curious
@BackyardBows
@BackyardBows 7 ай бұрын
@@stormchildkennelsjasontrac6749 yes I agree def has plays a factor in stability, reflex also factors into a short brace height and usually increased speeds. Which is what I point out 6.5 bh and below is when your usually sacrificing stability and 6.5 and above is usually more forgiving

It seems the only advantage is the lightness of the bow and with carbon bows and now the Mathews Lift it seems like an overpriced bow that doesn’t have any picatinny or dovetail mounts for streamlining any components. Eh!
