Do you feed your bachelor pad something different other than layer feed? I've been feeding my bachelor pad a grower feed, but they don't seem to like it 😂

Hi, I feed my bachelor boys the same feed as the rest of the flock gets. They are not pickey. Grower feed is typically feed to chicks as it has the nuteition needed for growing. My adult bird do not like the grower feed either, I switch them to layer at around 20 weeks of age.

Hi My 3 roosters are kinda rough of the hens is this an age thing or something else? Their are brothers and are just 1yr old. Mix breed. Several of my hens are wearing saddles. I have 29 hens.

@@JD-dh7bk At this age their hormones are surging, as a rooster ages he does melloe out some. However, some roosters can be rough despite efforts to protect the hens backs. Not all hope is lost though, If you like your roosters and dont want to part with them you can establish a bachelor pen and seperate the roughest roosters from the hens and allow the better behaved roosters to remain with the flock.
