Wow. Amazing how fruitful her garden is. One thing I can say is by sharing and reaping the crops often, the plants bear more. Beautiful harvest. Love the trellis/ harbor for the long beans.

The harvest looks great, Sharon! Does the callaloo taste like spinach? I think I must check the mushroom compost out; the other KZbinr who uses it regularly has the largest and healthiest cut flower garden I've ever seen. What a blessing to have a friend, sister, and husband to share the harvest! ❤

It pays to eat what you grow now. Food is so expensive and beside it is so fertilizer in food now that it is make us sick. I thought about gowning a garden. your garden is super healthy

Do you freeze eggplant and bitter melon?

This Sharon. Yes you can freeze them. Cut them up, put in zip lock bags and freeze. Thank you

@@sharonjohnson6431 Does the eggplant soak up the water like a sponge and become water logged? I can imagine the bitter melon would be ok but I wasn’t sure about eggplant. I freeze okra, tomatoes and hot peppers every year. The tomatoes can only be used for sauce after freezing because it has a lot of water.

You can only use the tomatoes for stews when frozen. Egg plants cook well when frozen. I stew most of my vegetables
