what size are the slats used for the walls? and is it the same that is used on the container doors? I am pretty sure 2x6s were used for the doors, but that seem overkill for the other walls

The slats are 2x6 and strictly cosmetic

Who needs the Windowlatches and the locks? I mean the window closes and opens anyway only from the inside and on the door you have a lock. Why not lock both parts with a bolt /bar / beam on the inside from top to bottom like a medieval castle gate. From the outside everything is smooth and you do not offer a burglar a point of attack on the window.

Your dead bolts are turned wrong I can unlock the unit without the key by just unlocking the bottom latches
