I visited this yard several years back. Winter is the best time to visit. Those five leaf plants are Virginia creeper. Not poisonous. Remember leafs of five let it thrive. Leafs of three leave it be. Three leaf is poison ivy.

The Demon nomenclature was used for 1971 and 1972. For 1973-1976 the same basic model was named the Dart Sport.

Why? Nothing there is worth anything, the fools that own it have done nothing but let those vehicles rot away to nothing. There's places like that all around here in southwestern Pa and northern Wva that I've watched my whole life the cars in them that ranged from salvageable to at least parts cars rot away to where there's not a single part that's any good anymore, places that old men piled up cars behind their barns and through the woods in their property and when ask why they don't sell then would all say "They'll be worth a lot more one day", yea, now that day's here and there's nothing left of them, they're worthless, at least years ago they'd have got some money out of them, now they're completely worthless. What a bunch of fools.

Every time I find myself standing there looking at a car in a place like that, all covered in pine needles with the frame sitting on the ground and the interior either stripped out or mostly eaten by critters, and it doesn't have to be a collectable muscle car or anything just any old car, I can't help but to envision it brand new and shiny sitting at a dealership with that new car smell and think to myself "There was a time when that thing was brand new and people actually wanted it".

Back in the late 70' s I worked at a junkyard after school and weekends and most of the time they would turn the title vins into the state as required by law and the title would be retired. This was in Pennsylvania. Not sure if it's still done this way or not and some of the better cars would be bought from an owner for a little more than junk price with the intention of reselling the vehicle at a fix up price!

There was once a ford manufacturing company in Atlanta. It’s probably why there are so many of them there. Mustangs and such. I noticed that when I lived there there were a lot of old fords on the road yet. Not like anywhere else in the US

How does a thing get like this. Collectible things over valued by love . I often reminded myself try to keep it original as possible, as long as you can. Don’t let it rot you are responsible to the future owners make it easy for them . Keep all removed parts (motors, chrome, exc.) they will become harder to fit when separated

I hope people realize that 60s Mustangs are based on the even older Falcon/Comet bodies which were designed in the 50s as economy cars. They are not sporty or well designed cars. Most of them handled so poorly, especially after years of neglect, that they got rolled/wrecked. I’m baffled that they even compete at all with Camaros of the same era. They look nice, but underneath is what counts.

the condition of those signs is really irrelevent..honestly i think the ones with patina rust and bullet holes are worth more than a clean one...if i was buying one of those i would look for the extra patina and rusty ones becaus they are more authentic and honest than a mint clean one.

At 1:33; I'm also not sure, but the styling was different between 63 and 64, versus a 62 and 63, thus I think it's a 64. ;-) If I remember correctly (likely not), the Coronet was the base for the Roadrunner and the Roadrunner was the base for the Daytona or Superbird? Are they so different that you can't make a Daytona or Superbird clone from a Coronet (convertible)? Alas no Corvairs, but I'm sure there's a few somewhere there (there was a Gremlin)? ;-D

Dodge "gassers"? Don't think so. Try Super Stock Eliminator cars . 1971 was the first year for the original Dodge Demon 71 & 1972. By 1973 they had been renamed Dart Sport . Memphis Dan LeLoLai

These are always a "Pain and Happiness" thing for me. I know we cant save em all but, sure would rather see people sell em to get restored and back to being loved and back on the road, sad really. Yes, there is a value but, rotting into the ground helps no-one. Just one mans opinion.
