When are Bacon Avocados ready to be picked in Southern California. I live in Zone 10a

Here inland about 12 miles east of San Diego we begin to pick ours in November to end of February. It's one of my favorites, but as it hangs on the tree later into the season begins to develop cracks in the bottoms of the fruits. I'm in zone 21.
