can we use nutrient agar instead of glycerol? and what if we don't shake the bacteria? just put it in incubator

Do you find autoclaving the spent media easier or better than using bleach to sterilize prior to disposal?

Steam is free, bleach adds up in costs and also may not completely kill all of the microbes (especially if the bleach is too dilute or old)
