The Twenty One Pilots album isn't terrible, it's just not as good compared to their other works. It's a fun as hell pop album though. The last 2 songs "No Chances", and "Redecorate" are pretty good though.

The Scaled and Icy album cover is incredibly awesome. The album is completely fine. I don’t even think it’s terrible, like most people think it is terrible, but honestly, come on, it isn’t THAT BAD. Like it isn’t unlistenable AT ALL. Just completely fine, yet twenty one pilots fans hold them to such high standards that they thought it sucked. I say this as a twenty one pilots fan for 10 years.

as a twenty one pilots fan ! i honestly think the hate train towards SAI isn’t necessary , the album REALLY isn’t as bad as people make it out to be . i believe the fact that it goes completely out of the ‘twenty one pilots style’ when compared to other albums like trench , vessel , blurryface ( ofc ) and for all it’s not out yet !! clancy ! but i feel it still that tøp feel to it when listening to the songs , it sounds like them ! as i said just taking a different approach , also there’s a whole lore thing behind it ( to put it lightly tyler was kept in dema and was made to entrain the citizens of dema , if need be just watch ‘I AM CLANCY’ it’ll explain it better ) .. basically i just suggest listening to it instead of going on for even longer 😭 i swear if you can’t tøp is a special interest of mine i don’t know how else to go about proving that to you 😊

if you check out the twenty one pilots album, keep in mind that album is generally considered one of their worst. (i still like it but shhh) Trench is probably the best album to start with, and it's also got an amazing album cover too!

With most people talking about Twenty One Pilots, Scaled and Icy is meant to sound like generic pop music. If you’re a fan of the TØP lore you’ll probably understand why but if you’re not I’ll explain why it sounds different from their other stuff. This album is propaganda and is meant to make DEMA (a place that is depressing and not at all intriguing) look like a fun and nice place when it’s really not. The only song that breaks this is No Chances which takes away the nice and inviting vibes and is replaced with the mood that most twenty one pilots music is because it follows within the Trench storyline.

Great video, about the U2 take. Their literally one of the best and most influential bands of the 80s they have two great post punk influenced albums like War and the Unforgettable Fire (listen to the song “Wire”) they evolved their sound after to a Pop Rock influenced by Heartland Rock. And then in the 90s they changed their sound again adding Alternative Rock and Alternative Dance, yes is almost all downfall afterwards with few songs on that level I agree on that.

I don't get St. Anger nor Significant Other hate (I don't know if it's even a thing, but Limp Bizkit hate in general is). St. Anger is raw and has an interesting backstory to put it very lightly. Frantic, St. Anger, Shoot me Again are one of the best songs from the album. The song played in the video from SO is just the intro and does not represent the full album. There is also a ton of nu metal classics. Just Like This, I'm Broke, Trust, Show Me What You Got and 1999 are one of my favorites.

I agree and disagree at the same time with the guy who talked about that Grimes album. I agree that the album isn't good, but disagree that the cover is any better. Idk, I've listened to Visions once and almost fell asleep, tried listening to Art Angels to see if it's any better and I couldn't take it, I stopped by the 2nd or 3rd track or something it was so bad, there was some track that sounded like some really cheesy passionless song you'd hear on a commercial for girl's toys like barbie dolls or something. I remember I once watched a little bit of an animated adaptation of Hilda by curiosity and when the opening theme started, and the overall OST, just something sounded really wrong to me, and then I learn Grimes soundtracked it and it made so much sense. Grimes feels like a competent artist, like, she can do what she wants to make, but the product feels so soulless. Visions' cover is pretty interesting though, but when I first saw this, I thought it was some vaporwave album, and not like a good one, a barber beats one with just slowed down copypasted songs (ngl, barber beats album covers are amazing tho, but they probably fit in this category of bad albums with good covers).
