It’s so insane to me hearing such a piece after so long and it being as comforting and enjoyable to listen to as it was the first time I listened to it - genuinley still brings a tear to my eye, this many years later Quite honestly, I miss the days back in 2016 when I discovered touhou for the first time, there were so many cool characters to meet, amazing themes to be heard and stories to be told. It felt like an endless treasure trove of all of these things. This series got me through a very hard time in my life, one I wasn’t sure I’d make it through. I am not only grateful for the fact the series helped me so much in such a hard point in my life, but I’m even more grateful that the series wasn’t stained by the bad memories of the days it helped me through and that I can keep enjoying it as much as I did back then - as backwards as it may sound, this is one of the first pieces of touhou music I ever listened too, and listening to it now brings me back to those times - although not to the bad days and memories of things that happened, but the absolute peace and comfort this offered to me during said times. It’s one of the few things that can get me to stop and just appreciate the world around me, I might not have been able to experience it if not for touhou, after all. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for making such an amazing piece of music PS - forgive me for the ramble, touhou always gets me all sappy and sentimental.

I just thought of something. Like, a magic wooden music box that plays a different tune everytime. There are 3 ways I could use this concept: -a music box that plays music that can tell what the person is truly feeling (ex. friend whisper's her best friend's name and the music box plays a happy tune) -music box plays music to tell if the chosen person is still alive, no matter how far away they are (ex. If the song is going smoothly, they're okay. If the song does not play at all, it means they're dead, and if the music box is playing music and suddenly stops, the person suddenly died, or if you wanna make it even more angsty: the music box is silent but then a faint tune can be heard and then it's silent again) -music box has a bunch of buttons and if you press one of them, a wooden figure will pop up and do motions to tell a story as the music box plays a certain tune; the tune is different for every story and the figure is different for every story
