I don't get it. This is like almost brilliant but then just just left turns every time it's about to get good. The concept is dope. And when dude on the right (sorry, don't know UK battlers) starts to break down why the line sucks, it starts to get good. But then he just just nunbles to a stop and that's it. It'd be so much better if they really broek that shit down. Really prove that's a bad bar. Give some examples on how it could have been better. Like if you're going to a show here you get into the art/science of battle wordplay then get into it, y'know? In those cases it was almost like they were just being dicks about cats they didn't like. The other thing that held it back (for me) is when they were really reaching for not liking a line. Like at one point they were complaining that "cream you" as slag for kick your ass was too 1950s... I mean, I guess, not really, sort of... surely not enough to hate on the bar... Or when they complain about rhymes that are literally the same word... there are times when that is terrible and there are times when that is genius. Things like slow-it-down and reverse-that are only bad because they've gotten too over-used. It'd be cool to hear some details of who got them started, when they peaked in popularity, examples of great ones versus bad ones, etc... Basically, cool fucking premise. They clearly could have made this fantastic. I just wish they had taken it more seriously. There's a real market out here for battle criticism, but you got to put as much effort into it as you do your battles for it to work.
