The whole Reggie stuff was a callback to all 3 movies prior - the first where he’s taking Marcus’ daughter on a date, in the 2nd he’s the boyfriend and the third they’re having their first kid…so basically Mike and Marcus have always tried to intimidate him, but never got rid of him so by the end of this 4th, Reggie got his…it was four movies in the making😂

I thought the first person moments were odd at first too because I thought of it from a video game perspective, but when I started to look at it through the lens of body cam footage I started to respect it a little more and understood the artistic decision.

I really think Jaby and Achura should rewatch 2 and 3. A lot of what made 4 great is calling back to 2 and 3. Reggie's arc, the tension between the Captain's daughter, and the young cops (including the woman dating the mayor candidate) that had their backs and went to war for them in the 3rd movie. You would not have questioned their loyalty if you'd seen 3.

I’m not sure why you asked if we wanted your reactions to Bad Boys 2 and Bad Boys For Life if you were going to jump right into Bad Boys Ride or Die. But even if you weren’t going to give us your reactions to the movies you should have watched them since the movies combine to tell a story and you admittedly don’t remember the previous movies to understand everything happening in this one. All the action sequences and most other scenes were completed before the writer's strike. So during the strike all of the important editing and post production was done. The final scenes shot in early 2024 had no real crazy post production necessary. That's why it was able to release 3 months after final filming. And yes, the bomb drop from the drone looked exactly like the bomb drop that destroyed the U.S.S. Arizona in the movie Pearl harbor.

This movie was a straight 10/10 from start to finish, the action, the comedy, the visuals, the story, everything. When I finally saw this movie, I was dying laughing and on edge at the same time, I was very impressed. I said the third bad boys was the best, but this one easily took the cake for me. Everybody showed out, but Reggie was easily the MVP of the movie 💯🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥.
