Belts stretch as they age. I don't think the slightly short belt will be a problem over this car's lifetime.

I was thinking the same thing. It's not a huge deal. I essentially turned it into a stretch belt.... which modern cars already utilize. 😁

@@themechanic6117 dawg I just changed her oil yesterday, she was rinning her 2012 chevy traverse on 3 qts of burned oil, had lost her engine cap(?) and had a rubber plug in it. Don't ask what the engine bay looked like. Gods.
