Also today’s performers are not trying to perform with energy of these guys. Just standing and acting like some of the new artists. These guys performed and put their heart and soul into the performance as well as the song writing. When you listen to this and others you can feel the intensity of the music. 👍👍👍👍👍👍

I would agree but I would not say hes the very best of conveying emotions but ok. I would argue, Ted Nugent Fred Bear conveys more emotion, Scorpions Rock you like a hurricane, Van Halen Right Now, U2 most songs, Sammy Hagar 55, and if you want to really flip genres, shanto conner or cranberries, or Stevie Nicks edge of 17 all evike morw emotion, but that being said the bad english singer is an above average hair band singer and is clear. I think the when I see you smile song is perhaps a better song. Think of Bon Jovi and White snake or white lion as well. Poison every rose has a thorn, my list may not be perfect. Think about freddy mercury.

Absolutely lovely, as usual, this song! It's amazing how I got to hear of this band! I was walking past a skip - (or dumpster!), where someone was clearing out a house they had bought. There were some of those specially made "briefcases" for cassette tapes. Now that C.D.s had come in, younger people didn't want tapes, and threw them out! I took these cases home, and found some really great tapes! Including one of this formidable band. And I didn't even know who they were, because the tape had been a blank one someone recorded this music onto! I finally found out, when a radio station mentioned John Waite, (who is a fantastic singer) was with a band called BAD ENGLISH, and the mystery was finally solved! I really thought that this must be a band from England ( what with the name bad ENGLISH), and because these are exactly the sort of musicians on our fantastic ISLAND record label! False trail! But an EXCEPTIONAL band and I treasure my album on the tape I found by chance!

I bought Rovers Return in a Woolworth's bargain bin in North West England not too far from his home town of Lancaster in 1987 and have been a fan ever since. No hits off the album but to this day one of my favourites. I knew about Missing You from 1984 of course but that find in the bargain bin having not heard any of the tracks turned out to be one of the best. Not as goood as your cassette discovery !

This is 100% Deen's show. Look at how firmly in control of this song he is. No matter what Jonathan, Ricky or Neal are doing, Deen is the rudder driving this powerful song along at top speed. His beats are coarse, the fills and kick patterns rough and raw, and no matter how much gloss is applied to the production, this rhythm track is filthy.
