if Fairy Tail wanted to heavily utilize The "power of friendship" as its central theme to the point of becoming "Friendship is magic" (yeah I said it), Then I can only say Hiro Mashima wasted major opportunities for his story to make that apparent or make that concept interesting for the Fairy Tail guild...but Like most ideas mashima came up with in FT, it usually ends up being the bare minimum Edit: that is a good point about Fairy Tail and World-building, its like in One Piece the villains are the leaders of the world, so good world-building is pretty much mandatory, Where is in Fairy Tail the villains are bunch of asshole guilds who just want to wreck havoc lol

Shiki, you absolute dum-dum. The magic systems in FF games are not the same. In 1-5 you get spells by buying them or leveling up and 6 onwards all kind of different systems. The names of spells, summons and some items carry through all/most games, but materia is an FF7 thing.

Fairy tail, final season was good up until they got to the final fight with acnologia, it was like the most rushhed part of the story, all that build up, just kill him off with the power of friendship. in 1000 year quest they bring up acnologia ton because they killed him off too early, like he was most powerful dragon but now they have to recon that,

When you unpack the concept of the 100 year quest, you pretty much realize, like hold on; Despite the fact that its been repeated numerous times that the "Age of dragons" ended with Acnologia, how the hell did miss so many dragons across the planet that were just chilling, and some of the backstories in the 100 year quest manga, only makes this situation worse and realize this is an asspull lol

what are your opinions on the problematic elements of Fairy Tail? Stuff like Zato's design; the character from the Naked Mummy guild and the tasteless fanservice at times.

Offensive character designs exist in a lot of manga, I don’t like it and wish it wasn’t there but overall it won’t ruin my experience. Media having some problematic content in it is basically guaranteed, how much is enough to be a deal breaker just varies person to person. Like for me, the weird relationships in sds are a deal breaker, but one not great design from a 2 bit ft jobber I can live with. As for the fanservice, I’m pro fanservice conceptually speaking, if you want a bunch of hot characters looking hot in your series, do that. Just make the men hot too.

Ahhh would you look at that it's "tasteles fanservice" but when you watch prisonschool for example of Redo of healer (which is qorn) then your eyes are like saucesrs and apparently it's the best anime ever .................😒

ppl saying fairy tail is a one piece clone, it's not tho but i get that the art style look the same. What i can say about fairy tail is that the show is one of the worst long running shounen i have ever watched, generic mc, too much fan service, story is ass, side characters are boring and also generic and i can go on for a while tho ill stop here.
