I totally agree! That’s how I would teach it in a live dance class. However, because of music copyright, I create a separate video showing the dance with music. Agreed but my teacher would teach us in counts and then we’d dance with the song. Then improvise - what parts go with the dance and if we all get the counts. She would tell us count this many times in fours before heading onto the stage and do counts in eights. Teaching us a group dance with 15 kids, 3 songs in two months (I was in the smallest class) was pretty easy but intense with learning different parts everyday. I feel like as long as you know the songs in counts, you should be good

now THIS is a beginner tutorial! the moves are not too complicated and nicely broken down - not only do you show them clearly, you explain how to do them while you do them! my problem is usually that i don't know which body part to watch as the movement is introduced, so first i really need to be told where to put my weight or how to direct my limbs. this doesn't really look like my style but i'm going to try it!

Finally a beginner dance routine that actually is BEGINNER! I've never danced before in my life and am overweight and trying to get into dancing. I wouldn't say I found I easy but it's not too hard to pick up after watching it multiple times! Thank you loads! You explain things really well! 😄

Having labelled scene changes would be really helpful, for rewinding to practice a specific move, that way when I'm scrolling back I can easily see each section, so I'm not starting from the beginning each time, but I love this tutorial, I have never been confident enough to dance but this is perfect for teaching me without making me feel overwhelmed or uncoordinated. Thankyou !
