Probably all over the world we encounter similar problems with other passengers of public transport, especially in the subway. Fortunately, now I live far from the big city (which is also not always the best solution), so problems with bad habits in the subway do not concern me at all. The lesson is relatively easy and my level of understanding is around 100%.

As a 170cm person, this video made me feel tall!

Most metro system at rush hour have the same issues. I hear announcements on the BTS platforms and in the carriages instructing proper etiquette, which is exactly the same as in Japan where I commuted for years. Happily most riders are considerate and sharing public transport contributes to better environment overall. I think win win in spite of small irritation. Understand 95%

Glad I had a fairly high level of understanding as a tall person, since this mostly applies to tall people. I already knew about the backpack thing and sitting cross legged like that was already intuitive but doesn't really seem to matter since I rarely ever get a seat on one of those things. I always grab the bar above anyways since it's more comfortable. I understood at least 90%. Thank you.

Thank you for this useful lesson! I think we can all be a bit more mindful when using public transport! The worst I've seen is people not getting up for others (the elderly or pregnant women). No real public transport in my small city, which is one reason I want to move to somewhere where I don't need to rely on a car. Understood about 85%. Thanks :)

I agree! Taxis in Bangkok are bloody expensive for a short drive. It's BTS or the crazy old bus for me lol, but never in rush hour or rainfall for the bus. Or alternatively moto taxi if you want to feel the thrill of death hahaha! The BTS in Thailand is one of the best metro lines I have ever been on. People are very well behaved compared to others. You should go on the London Underground or a bus in Britain for that matter. People don't have any care for eachother. BTS is a dream for us hahaha

% time I could follow along with the general message/meaning of what is being said: 95% I'm surprised! I thought thai people would be more considerate to their fellow passengers. Didn't think it would be as common as Khroo Ying describes.
