Satin for the win! Great review. I’m on the fence with this one.

The lockbar insert screw didn't stop the detent ball from going all the way in, it was preventing it going down 100%, prob 80-90%, causing it a slight detent lash feel and minimum movement.

What was the final outcome? Did they take care of the problem? I have a black Tanto and satin drop point and both have been great. You may have just gotten a lemon

Honestly. I didn't worry about it very much. Maybe just timing with other stuff going on. I like the knife, wish I could redo the video, concentrated to much on the coating. Had dozens of black blades, I stand by it shouldn't have been that bad that quick, but I needed a new daily user. Hardly have any blades now, compared to 2-3 years ago. What's weird is, after 2-3 months, it's barely any worse now than it was. Thanks for checking it out 👊🏼

That knife looks cool but For what you paid for that it shouldn't scratch that easy... Kunwu has a sub $300 knife that's DLC coated and they made a video of them Running a bit driver across the DLC no scratches at all..

@@FLATLINEBLADES hope bad habits makes it right. If they would have posted the coating on their website it wouldn't be a issue. Sure they might not have sold but would be a issue with customer complaints. Anyone who still chose to buy wouldn't be disappointed

@jpolhamus71 yep, I totally agree. That is part of the frustration that it's not listed or disclosed anywhere.
