My Jeep belt had a slight squeak so I replaced it which stopped the noise. Two days later ru 70 on the highway, lost power steering, temperature shot up. I knew the belt had come off. I attempted to put it back on, but saw the balancer was off an inch. Had it towed to garage for a new balancer. It lasted 280,000 miles.

Me too brother. I have changed all my engine mounts, spark plugs, plug coil, adjusters. This will be my last hope to solving this

@@anthonyikenna8075 Actually it was a crank sensor that fixed the majority of the shaking. Now I just need to check my piston rings and crank bearings when I have time but that's a full day's work.

@@anthonyikenna8075 im in the same position car starts but just vibrated I’ve changed mounts spark plugs egr valve, injectors, no vacuum leaked, new trans fluid change, n more but still having a shake .

Sorry to hear that. It's typical for the serpentine belt to wear out overtime, since in most vehicles it also operates the air con. did you manage to get it replaced?

@@HonestMechanicChannel yeah, replaced the harmonic balancer. Aircon and belt was fine. Think with the extra resistance of the aircon made it wobble and the belt slip. Bloody expensive for a pulley, part alone cost me nearly AU $900! Kia Sportage is supposed to have cheap parts
