No. 1 Mexicans aren't Spaniards nor Natives, they are of mix ancestry, basically they are half Spaniard and half native (it depends on the region, there are more-spanish regions and more-native regions), that's the reason they speak Spanish. On the other hand, Mexican culture is the same case, half and half. So Mexico and Spain are really close related. It's not adopted but derived. No. 2 the United States did not help Mexico gain independence. As far as I know the only help Mexico received during wartime was against the french and that was 50 year after Mexican independence.

It’s not complicated. We (the US) are a nation state like any other. We have immigration laws and people need to follow them and no amount of gas lighting about white nationalists is going to change that. So tired of hearing this for 50 years and I am sure it is true. However if the USA had a more equitable system it would not allow labor to be valued by slave labor. If there was a living wage in the USA and employers were not allowed to use undocumented labor, companies would be able to find a way. Of course companies would get labor by moving to a third world country using all sorts of international hijinks. That’s what happened when unions took over our labor market. It would work. There aren’t enough jobs for all the migrants streaming in. So wages even for labor slaves will go down. But government costs will rise and taxes will rise. So in end only Big Money will profit. I have family on both sides of the southern border.😊
