Almost 16000 people liked the video and only about 750 people disliked it, but if you read through the comment section you might get the impression that more than half of the people watched this video hated it. I guess when people like something they don't always say it, but when they hate it they are a lot more vocal about it.

You're a negotiator cool.
@adygombos44698 жыл бұрын
Well, that's not what happens in real life either. Most of the times the criminals don't wanna kill the hostages because it only makes it worse for themselves. So negotiators just try to keep them busy until the special forces make a plan to take the criminals out.
@forever-pk1hn8 жыл бұрын
My criminal justice teacher was a hostage negotiator for a big city PD. The negotiators ultimate goal is to get the perp to surrender without incident. They see any need for an actual assault as a failure on their part. It's not like in the movies.

Rob Corddry as Ron Fox in "Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay" is one of my favourite characters in comedies period. There aren't any bad scenes when he is on the screen. And he made this movie into classic for me, wherareas first one, although enjoyable, didn't have me roling on the floor from laughter. I was sure that he got some award for that role, but nope. I hope they will make another Harold & Kumar with him (great premise for parodying "depressed , obsessed cop" cliché, seeing how obsessed he was already) or spinoff movie about Ron Fox made by good writers, because in H&K his lines were perfect, f.e. -Don't you wipe? -Don't ask questions you don't want answers to, buddy There are only two words that can describe that role: Starship Fucking-Troopers \,,/
@Nib_Nob-t7x2 жыл бұрын
Fun fact: if you ever take a hostage (in USA) be sure not to harm them all police department policies are to negotiate and try to talk you out until you shoot. Once that happens it turns from hostage to active shooter and all officers rifle or not are supposed to rush in.

You're looking for action without the patience to even listen to the words. In that case; go watch an Indonesian film called The Raid: Redemption, its a really good fight flick where everything goes to shit 20 minutes in, and doesnt stop.
@eschelar10 жыл бұрын
Magic lol, yeah, I gave that one a try a few weeks ago. contrived, crummy writing and too many stupid people. A B Movie at best. A good effort for Indonesians definitely, but I found it annoying. As for me having patience, you really have no idea. It couldn't be any further from the truth.
@Desh68110 жыл бұрын
...Did you really give it a go? How come you didnt mention the sequel? And the prequel?
@eschelar10 жыл бұрын
Magic Yes I did. I watched around 30 minutes. After the guy shoots the kid through the door in the hallway, it degenerates into mindless fight scenes with mediocre choreography. I then clicked through to a couple more spots and saw nothing surprising or interesting. The first 30 minutes had virtually zero character development and I just didn't care about one single person on screen. It had the emotional impact of a homework assignment. Why would I want to watch the prequel or the sequel? I'm not saying it was horrible, it just wasn't really very good. Or even just plain "good".
@Desh68110 жыл бұрын
eschelar Wha- you thought the fight scenes were mindless, but then you clicked through the sections with only seconds to get a proper judgement? Well shit, i referred to that because i thought everything except action scenes would be boring to you. Well, if you want character development (and you'd probably need to actually watch it a bit to get any development), i'd suggest the anime Attack on Titan. Might start off somewhat slow, but the many characters are engaging enough to be shocked at their futures.
