Actually the average household makes 52k a year and that's often with 2 people working! People are seriously suffering and living paycheck to paycheck. You would basically have to be a lawyer or start your own business to get to that 170k a year. You're not going to get to that number from a regular job.

Recent Physician Assistant graduate here. Dermatology typically pays a great deal due to high patient turn over through the day and cosmetic procedures/ services. While a typical doctor's office may spend 15 min/ pt, or about 20-28 pts if they stay on schedule, a dermatologist is spending about 5-10 min/ pt in most instances, which results in being able to see 40-60 pts in a day. They also do not need to barter with insurance too much as acne, fungal, skin cancer removal, etc are not as difficult to get approval for and their in office treatment modalities are relatively "cheap" to maintain compared to imaging and lab work in the hospital setting. Additionally, cosmetic procedures, like botox, fillers, cool sculpting, laser procedures, cryogenic procedures, etc are not covered by insurance and thus you don't have to barter with the insurance, and can get the payment right away/ attract a higher income clientele. Many dermatology offices also market their own cosmetic ranges which adds another revenue stream. Final fun fact, insurance will cover botox if you have migraines and other treatments have not been successful so far.

Everytime its like 30-40 minutes of waiting in the waiting room and then maybe 10 mins total with the doctor in between them popping in and out of the exam room while waiting 30 mins for them.

The car registration thing is funny I have been chronically homeless for years and I worked at a goodwill and I couldn't afford to pay my cars registration and I'd see people's range rovers ect with expired plates and I'd ask them and they'd be like why u asking me questions vs I got pulled over fined 320 bucks and we have echeck here so it costs me 1300 bucks for 1 years registration they make u fix something that has no bearing on the car running well so I couldn't afford to get new tires or brakes I also made 1k too much this year 22k so my return was only 438 bucks and turbo tax bent me over for 150 bucks just to file I have no family no friends and will hopefully shoot myself when I lose my apartment this month

Free tax usa. Doesnt charge like turbo. If you put into a 401k you can get that back during tax season, look for deductibles. Get out of goodwill, get into delivery or construction. Both pay ridiculous for rather unskilled labor. If you dont want that then town jobs or govt jobs. Even custodians make bank. I suggest looking into trade jobs like meatcutting, butchery, hvac, etc. Hard early on but dooable. If all else fails then link up with an Air force recruiter. Easiest branch that will hook you up with the most MOS- job skills imo. Army & marines will just fry your body.
