LOL, what's not to like about 76252? Next to none competitions. OOS everywhere. Great design. Great collectability. Huge piece count. The Colosseum of DC universe. If I'm forced to pick up only one set from this year for investing, it's gonna be this one.

I think there's a lot of good in the set! I'm one of the few that has had some positive points on it...most of the investing community is skipping. It's amazing for die hard Batman fans. But for casual fans it's really expensive, the minifigs are just ok and it's all one or two colors. I was hoping to get one, but not at full price. It never went on discount, so I missed out. Quite a few I think will be a surprise if you managed to get them at 40-50% off like I have done, yavin rebel base, chewy, the atat was a steal at May 4th promo, selling gwps and a huge cashback with Quidco , meant they cost me £475 each, plus a few of the other sets were picked up when good deals were on over the past year or so. I'm in the same boat. I got 2 at $103 from walmart clearance (I'd be more comfortable with slightly cheaper). So yes, after a longer hold time they should be ok. Best of luck with them!

Great video as always. I absolutely hated the chewbacca set but then I saw it on display at a Lego store next to the new r2d2 and it looks way better in real life and actually liked it quite a bit and bought one for myself when Amazon had them for $145. I think it might be a good sleeper set.

Always depends on where you are, try watch as many investment videos as u can from a range of channels to gather the overall opinions on each set for reselling, there is of course going to be discounts but as I said it depends on your country, the rule of thumb is generally only look into these if they are 25%+ plus off the retail. Even then if it’s an unpopular set u will need much more discount to justify it!

Yeah, great question and great answer! Prime Deal Days are typically disappointing with only rarely a good set on a good sale. Black Friday is typically much better (and even the week before black Friday some retailers (target last year) get a jump on great deals)! And I agree 25% equivalent savings minimum...but many times we can stack deals, GWP, promos to get 40%+ savings. Best of luck everyone!

I am new to Lego. I just ordered the Jaws set (arrives Dec). I am thinking about the Office set but don’t like the visual presence on shelf. I got into Lego after NECA showed the new Sesame Street Ultimates at SDCC 24. I was looking to buy Sesame Street, Simpsons, Flintstones and Looney Toons but all are sold out. Love the cantina and barge but price is crazy. Great video!

The landspeeder is a great build - and also it looks like that C-3PO is going to be exclusive to it and the buildable C-3PO. The sailbarge leaked and that is 500$ but it's only using a dummy C-3PO - interesting.

I think you can forget about the tree house being undersupplied😂. I'm tracking a bunch of sets on bricklink and this one has the 3rd place in total supply (only the battlepack and boba Fett mech have more supply) and the sales aren't that great either.

Wow! So much hate for the N-1 microfighter! I knew you weren’t a fan, but for it to be worse than the Hoopty is saying something! LOL! I agree it’s not a great set. But surprisingly its sales velocity on Amazon is similar to Boba Fett microfighter. I don’t think I’ll go deep on either set especially because of the oversupply. The Batman Shadow Box is really interesting. I kind of want one for personal build. I know it’s available right now with triple insiders points. Hopefully there is a better deal on Black Friday. If I had a million dollars to bet, I would bet it on the Mos Eisley going to the moon in value after it retires. It is a MBS set and there has only ever been on of them (Cloud City) and that one went crazy high after retirement. Yeah I will definitely be picking up a couple of this set!

I’m still on the fence on the Landspeeder. Most USC sets go on to do decent to excellent after retirement and I have a feeling this one is going to have low supply after retirement.

It seems that apart from the ludicrous pricing, there is no reasonable strategy. And all of your videos confirm this. Have you ever bought Lego sets at suggested market price? You have not and advise people not to do so. The question then remains: how does Lego get to these prices 🤪? What most people do not realize, however, is that Lego are not involved in all these price reductions. They sell all their products at fixed prices - the retailers very rarely even know what they are buying - and make their profit. For almost any retailer, selling Lego is then a losing prospect nowadays. And since I love toy-shops, I will never buy Lego again, since it kills them.
