Hi guys. The one thing I've learned about evaporation fridges is they don't like being turned off and on again a short while later. We moved 100 metres once across bumpy ground, disconnecting and reconnecting to the mains. It didn't like that and refused to work on mains or gas. We turned it off - 24hours later it was fine. We'll see how it goes next time we're out but I feel a touch of 'fridge spinning' may coming on. Some good hacks there! Alfie hasn't tried to go through our flyscreen yet, but he stands on the seat looking out of the windows now. Stay safe guys .

Oh, bless you. That’s how life seems to go - you get a run of bad luck, you get a run of good luck and things seem to come in threes. I had a spell a couple of months back where the dishwasher conked out, then the plug/waste in the bath corroded and fell out then the toilet cistern sprang a leak and sprayed water everywhere, all within the space of a week. There’s always something! It’s so good that you’re very handy though and can do lots of jobs a lot of people simply couldn’t. Some excellent tips there too from Tony. Bit of a nightmare few days Steve and Lorna. Fridge being intermitent isnt good at all!! £500 for a flyscreen - who do they think pays that??? We had a problem with a fridge, the burner has a jet that can block up. I took it out, you can buy one but I used a pin to clean the jet. You can't enlarge the hole.

Get an engineer to check it it could be the same as ours loose wire connection’s our gas regulator

Yes, our fridge stopped working on gas, but we're always on electric at the moment. Chris, nor I, are into fixing things, so we will get it seen to at some point 😂. Great tips from Tony! Good luck with your fridge! Dione 😊

Hi Steve, I would like to see if the fridge worked ok. I guess time will tell. The only trouble I’ve had is spiders Webbs collecting dust and dirt in the exhaust and it wouldn’t light. The same with the diesel heater. Although your full time so that might never happen. 👍
