The problem with a lot of music videos compared to just the song is that the video has a lot of distractions and can get you lost in the visuals. I listen to the song first before I watch the video. So that I can better appreciate and the so that I can get a deeper meaning in the song. I think if you have the knowledge and know the history of both DRE and Eminem and know both men's catalogs this song hits harder. The only one from his friends who stood by him was Eminem. That's why they praise each other in the song.
